Join us and the Homer City Community Garden and Learning Center for an informative tutorial exploring the art of sourdough cultivation. We invite you to discover the techniques for maintaining a sourdough starter, share favorite recipes, and sample homemade delights from Chef Alexa's kitchen. This class will cover basics but will also draw from the lessons of the first class we had in November, with a focus on what to do with all your "discard". A $10 donation per participant, payable in cash at the door, will help offset class expenses. Pre-registering enables us to accurately estimate attendance, and as a token of appreciation, each pre-registered individual will receive an active sourdough culture to take home. Dehydrated cultures will also be available for sale.
