Da Golden Toof is Warhammer Den Haag's biggest painting competition of the year - the one where /everyone/ can take part, with multiple entries and loads of enthusiasm - inspiration is to be shared between all!Open to beginner and veteran alike, this painting competition features 10 categories, with a total of 31 different awards:
- Single Model Age of Sigmar (any model that originally comes with a 50mm base or smaller)
- Single Model 40.000 (same as above)
- Unit (number of models based on unit size in game)
- Monster/Vehicle
- Titanic (models sized as a Knight/Megagargant or larger)
- Duel (any combination of 2 models locked in combat)
- Youngblood (for all participants aged 15 years and younger)
- Diorama
- Epic Scale (small scale models, used in Titanicus, Aeronautica Imperialis and Legions Imperialis)
- Open (for any entries that do not fit any of the above - and open to staffmembers taking part as well!)
Each category will have Bronze, Silver and Gold trophees, and there will also be the overall winner of the Golden Toof 2024, who shall be granted the exclusive Slayer-Powerklaw! (a custom-made live-size one!)
Also, there will be finalist rewards, for all entries who reach the initial selection to determine who will get eventual rewards (Usually about 10 per categorie.)
All entries are required to be Games Workshop models, following the regular guidelines for fielding models in events in the store.
All entries are to be dropped off at the store, before 14:00 hours, on saturday the 28th of December - to ensure all entries can be placed into assigned spaces with care, as well as give the staff the time for judging purposes.
Entries can be brought in in advance - we recommend no more than a week early. If this does not work for you, please contact the store to discuss an alternative with our staff.
Announcement of winning entries will be done around 17:30 to 18:00, the same day.
