District 33 is proud to host a free Coaches Clinic and Safety Clinic for everyone in District 33. Both Clinics will be held on Sunday, March 7th, 2021 on the Serra Mesa Little League Baseball Field, Cabrillo Heights Park, 8308 Hurlbut St. San Diego CA 92123. Both Clinics meet the clinic requirements for District 33 tournament play. Check in time is 8:30am. The Coaches Clinic is scheduled for 9:00am to 11:30am and the Safety Clinic for 11:45am to 12:30pm.Coaches Clinic - Mike Pieratt will be running the Coaches Clinic. Mike and his SDBC staff have a combine 100 years of coaching little league to professional baseball experience. Learn how to run effective and fun practices. Learn how to teach basic skills to your players. This Clinic is designed for all coaches and parents of players ages 8 and up. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a glove.
Safety Clinic - Danyell DiLena will present a Safety Clinic, following the Coaches Clinic. Some of the topics that Danyell will covered will be; evaluating injuries, Initial treatment of injuries, basis first aid and concussions protocol. Sign in sheets will be passed around during this clinic. No pre-register is needed, a sign-up sheet will be passed around during the clinic.
Everyone will need to wear a mask and All COVID-19 Safety protocols will be followed. You must sign in at the clinic to get credit for attending any District and League approved clinics. Your name on the sign in sheets will be proof that you attended a Coaches and Safety clinic and are eligible to participate in District 33 tournament play.
