The Free Black Women's Library is a grassroots funded literary hub, social site, Black Feminist archive, and community care space that features over 5000 books by Black women and Black non-binary folks, as well as a wide range of free public programs, special events, and creative workshops, a free store, period pantry, backyard garden, virtual reading club, and weekly book swap.

All are welcome to join us on Saturday, Oct 18 at 3pm for a fun and enagging afternoomn of storytime and movement led by children's author and award winning peformance artist Stacey Allen as she reads from her new book D IS FOR DANCE: DANCING THROUGH THE DIASPORA.

Journey through the vibrant world of the  African Diaspora with this captivating  exploration of movement and culture. With  each letter, uncover fascinating stories of  legendary dancers, iconic styles, and the  powerful cultural expressions that unite us all.  Perfect for young readers, educators, and  dance enthusiasts, this book is a joyful  celebration of movement, history, and the  enduring legacy of African diasporic traditions.
