8️⃣ 0️⃣ This year marks the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings📅 We're hosting a special commemorative D-Day event on the front lawns at Salford Civic Centre on Thursday 6 June 2024 from 8.30pm until 10pm
This is a free, community event and will feature:
🏛️ Spectacular light projection show
🇬🇧 Special sermons, readings and tributes
🍕 Enjoy a range of food and drink vendors which will be on-site
Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or picnic blankets to sit on and experience what promises to be a very moving commemoration
Free car parking will be available at the back of Salford Civic Centre
Please join us for this special commemorative event as we come together as a city to remember and commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day
