About this Event

Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican tradition celebrated on Nov. 1st and 2nd to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. Instead of focusing on death with fear or sadness, this holiday views it as a natural part of life and creates a joyful, colorful way to keep memories alive. Families come together to celebrate with music, food and decoration, believing that during these days, the spirits of the dead return to visit the living.

Together we'll build the Edison Community Ofrenda to celebrate Día de Los Muertos. While building the Ofrenda, watch Coco, the Disney movie inspired by this special Mexican holiday and get inspired to build your own at home to celebrate and honor your loved ones!
