L’incontournable Défilé de la Saint-Patrick revient avec ses couleurs et sa musique le samedi 22 mars! Le coup d’envoi sera donné à 14 h au coin des rues Cartier et Fraser. Les quelque 1 000 participants animeront d’abord la Grande Allée et la rue Saint-Louis, avant de passer devant le majestueux Château Frontenac, où le clou du spectacle vous attend. Cette année, le défilé se terminera devant l’hôtel de ville de Québec. ☘️Pour sa treizième édition, le défilé réunira les quatre célèbres groupes de cornemuses et de percussions de New York (Pipes & Drums Of The Emerald Society of the New York City Police Department), de Boston (Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums), de Chicago (Pipes and Drums of the Chicago Police Department) et de Toronto (Toronto Fire Services’ Pipes and Drums). Une occasion exceptionnelle d’assister à la performance de tous ces groupes au cours d’un même événement! 🎶
L’unité d’apparat du Service de police de la Ville de Québec se joindra également à la fête, tout comme le Olde Fort St. Andrew’s du 78th Fraser Highlanders, les Titans, les Éclairs et bien d’autres groupes. Attendez-vous à voir des troupes de danse celtique, des animations pour les jeunes, des descendants de familles irlandaises ainsi que la mascotte Freydis accompagnée de ses amis lévriers irlandais. ☀️

The unmissable Défilé de la Saint-Patrick is back with its vibrant colors and lively music on Saturday, March 22! 🎶 The parade will kick off at 2 p.m. at the corner of Cartier and Fraser streets. Around 1,000 participants will bring Grande Allée and Saint-Louis Street to life, before passing in front of the majestic Château Frontenac, where the highlight of the show awaits. This year, the parade will conclude in front of Quebec City Hall. ☘️
The thirteenth edition of this parade brings together four famous groups of bagpipes and drums from New York (Pipes & Drums Of The Emerald Society of the New York City Police Department), Boston (Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums), Chicago (Pipes and Drums of the Chicago Police Department), and Toronto (Toronto Fire Services Pipes and Drums). An exceptional opportunity to witness the performance of all these groups at the same event! 🎶
The ceremonial unit of the Quebec City Police Department will also join the festivities, along with the Olde Fort St. Andrew’s of the 78th Fraser Highlanders, the Titans, the Éclairs, and many more. You can look forward to Irish dance troupes, activities for young audiences, descendants of Irish families, as well as the mascot Freydis and her Irish Wolfhound friends. ☀️
