Come meet the farmers of Cypress Point Oyster Co. and sample a variety of their oysters, styles, and toppings at the butcher shop!Cypress Point Oyster Co. is one of the many oyster farms we work with and supply at The Son of a Butcher. Harvested on the forgotten coast in Apalachee Bay, Florida, Cypress Point produces some of your favorite oysters including Little Honey's and Otter’s Choice. This family-owned and operated farm has more than six acres of prime bay waters, state-of-the-art technology, and some of the finest oyster farming practices in the business.
Owners Jody and Dewey Houck will be at the shop on Saturday, May 4th to sample a variety of their oysters and answer any questions you may have. We'll have a raw bar inside the shop, roasted oysters outside on the green egg, house-made toppings available, and plenty of unshucked oysters for purchase. This free event is limited to two samples per person, first come-first served until we run out.
