Incident Response Plan Workshop – Region 5
CISA and the Connecticut National Guard (CTNG) are hosting an Incident Response (IR) workshop for municipalities and schools to help ensure everyone has a cyber ready IR plan.
Participants will go through CISA's Incident Management resource guide, which describes how to build an incident response plan, and covers topics like detection, triage, incident declaration, creating an incident response team, communications, mitigation, recovery, and the post-incident improvement process. Several free resources will be covered during the workshop including CISA's incident response playbook and templates you can use to get started. In addition, CTNG will conduct an interactive group discussion to help participants fill gaps in their plans, share ideas, and learn from others. Executive leadership from municipalities and school districts are welcome to attend along with their IT professionals to gain knowledge and understanding on how to manage cyber incidents.
