About this Event

The program serves as an opportunity for anyone involved in public safety agency Operations to gain basic working knowledge of cybersecurity, and provides education on the activities that may affect the 9-1-1 industry. This course’s focus is to assist 9-1-1 Operational personnel in the understanding of the most common cyber threats associated with PSAPs and to provide general direction that may help avoid certain pitfalls in managing the technology of a 9-1-1 Center. This curriculum was built based upon actual cyber events from around the world and covers most situations that frequently occur from both inside and outside a computer network. The program will provide you with knowledge and a visual understanding that can assist you in better management of the security of your 9-1-1 technology systems and personnel.
