sip on a warm beverage from the café!
About this Event
Join us at the Chazen Café for a hands-on program inspired by the exhibition . Angela Johnson will lead you to create your own unique cyanotype prints as you sip on a warm beverage from the café. Cyanotype is an early photographic printing process that involves laying one or more objects on paper coated with a UV reactive solution, exposing it to UV light, and washing with water to produce a blueprint silhouette. All art supplies will be provided, so all you need to bring is your creativity!
Eventbrite registration and Chazen Café purchase is required to participate. To anticipate drying times, attendance is limited within three 40-minute sessions from 5-5:40 p.m., 5:40-6:20 p.m., and 6:20-7 p.m. If you do not arrive by the start of your session to find your seat, your spot may be forfeited to walk-in guests.
Generous support for this event is provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.
