Saturday, October 4-- 🌞 Join us from 2pm-4pm for a Cyanotype Printing Workshop with Mvskoke artist Jessi Sands! We will be using sunlight, iron salts, and natural items found around the garden to create your own prints to take home. Cyanotype is one of the oldest forms of photography, and a perfect way to become familiar with the natural world around us. This class will begin right after October Brunch and Bead (12pm-2pm), come have a day of creativity at Burning Cedar!"Jessi Sands is a multidisciplinary artist who uses mediums such as painting, ceramics, print making, and mixed media to explore how the intersectionality of their multiracial identity influences their roles as an Indigenous parent, queer person, and land steward."
