Cyanotype Printing Workshop
Come join us at Shutter Studios and learn how to create a print using the photographic process, Cyanotype.
This hands-on workshop will teach you how to use sunlight/UV light (weather depending) to create beautiful blue prints on paper using photographic solution.
What is Cyanotype?
Cyanotype is a photographic solution that when it is exposed to UV light it reacts. For example: the solution is brushed onto paper, put some objects or dried flowers and then exposed to UV light to create a print.
No experience is necessary - just bring your creativity - OPTIONAL : you can bring along flowers, foliage, or objects of your choice. I will provide foliage and flowers.
Please be prepared to get messy. There are aprons and gloves however, Cyanotype solution will stain clothes, so please bare this in mind before putting on your best frock.
