Mark Michelson, MSPA Co-Founder, CEO CX Forums & Threads Marketing Research
is a globally recognized expert in customer experience design, strategy, and measurement, with 40 years of experience working with top global brands across industries such as Automotive, Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Technology.
Throughout his career, he has helped companies like Coca-Cola, Home Depot, Johnson & Johnson, Ford, Microsoft, Mitsubishi, and Samsung bring the voice of the customer (VOC) to life, helping create products, services, and experiences that enhance customer journeys.
Mark’s expertise spans the design and implementation of research studies that inform product development, branding, and facilities as well as establishing XM programs to monitor and manage CX.
A lifetime entrepreneur, upon graduating from UGA in 1984, Mark founded Michelson & Associates, Inc., a global marketing research firm focused on creating strategy from research.
In 1997, Mark co-created MSPA with Mike Bare. Mark served the first three years as president and then remained on the board a a number of years before joining the Global Board.
Mark sold Michelson & Associates in 2005 and in 2009 he created Threads Marketing Research, LLC, where he provides key stakeholder insights for designing innovative customer and employee experiences.
As a leader in the Customer Experience (CX) Indiustry, Mark was a Regional Director with CXPA from 2011 to 2023 where he was responsible for planning regional events. Mark created CX Forums in 2016 which featured 25 speakers and panelists in one day on one stage covering a wide range of relevant CX advice.
