About this Event
Group B training is designed to support all practitioners to understand safeguarding children and adults, regardless of your service area. This training is designed to meet the National Safeguarding Training Standards and encourages multi agency learning.
Outcomes:
1.Safeguarding and legislation, national policies, codes of conduct and professional practice. You will learn how to use legislation, national policies, codes of conduct and professional practice in safeguarding within your role.
2. How to work in ways that safeguard people from abuse, harm, and neglect. You will learn what it means to you to work in ways to safeguard in your roles.
3. Factors (signs and symptoms), situations and actions that could lead or contribute to abuse, harm, or neglect. You will learn to recognise factors, situations and actions that could lead or contribute to abuse, harm or neglect in your service area
4. How to recognise, report, respond and record safeguarding concerns or allegations. You will learn your responsibility in recognising different types of abuse and what to do next.
