About this Event
CWILLI Fall '24 Runway Show
As part of Chicago's inaugural Fashion Week, (@cwilli) marks its runway debut with the unveiling of "Creeper", the Fall '24 collection.
About the EVENT:
All profits from the event will directly support (@thewasteshed), who provides Chicago with an organized, affordable, and reliable resource for repurposed art, craft, and school materials, and with a dynamic center for activities related to sustainability, art, craft, education, and material culture.
(@dovetailchicago) has generously provided accessories for the runway presentation. Established in 2008 by Julie Ghatan, Dovetail's brick-and-mortar store in Chicago's West Town neighborhood has earned its reputation for delivering high-quality, curated vintage in a unique boutique setting.
An official afterparty will be hosted by the Uptown bar Max's Place (4621 N Clark).
About the DESIGNER:
Created by Chris Williford, CWILLI is an eco-conscious line that fashions textile waste and postconsumer garments into statement pieces. Rooted in a design ethos of 'deconstructed prep,' the line challenges sartorial codes and infuses them with a rebellious, rock-and-roll edge. Produced exclusively in the designer's studio in Uptown, Chicago, select pieces are available to order via an online storefront.
