MEETING POINT is at the entrance to cemetery.
Portobello Cemetery contains 27 memorials commemorating the war dead in addition to a number of family memorials commemorating those who served. There are CWGC headstones for both the Great War and the Second World War and includes Army, Navy and RAF Personnel. Ken Nisbet as Tour Guide will explain the the work of the commission and tell the stories of those commemorated and why they are buried in this cemetery. The Cemetery also contains a family headstone commemorating Lt. Colonel William Robertson VC, who was awarded a Victoria Cross whilst serving with Gordon Highlanders in the Second Boer War.
