Tower Hill Memorial commemorates men and women of the Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleets who died in both World Wars and who have no known grave.
This October as we celebrate Black History Month in the UK. At our Tower Hill Memorial we will be uncovering the history behind the names of the men, women and ships which reflect the extensive diversity of the Black presence that can be found in both World Wars. We will explore and expand on the relationships forged through the contributions made not once but to fight for Freedom and Liberty and connect relatable people and events to broaden your knowledge on the connections made by Black communities worldwide.
Limited parking, no facilities on site but public house nearby, upper area is wheel chair accessible the lower area is down several steps.
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
