About this Event
This presentation will walk through essential concepts needed for working with pumps, how pumps work, types of pumps, reading pump curves, pump components, reasons for pump failure, and basic pump maintenance. Questions are encouraged throughout the presentation. This presentation provides a baseline knowledge for working with pumps whether you are relatively new to pumps or have worked with pumps for your entire career.
Robert Murray obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and worked for Baldor (ABB) as a mechanical engineer in electric motors prior to selling pumps. Robert has seven years of experience in pump sales, in which five years were focused on centrifugal pumps.
