COME JOIN US at Dicsover Community Center, 8560 S. Cottage Grove Ave. Chicago IL 60619 on May 02, 2024, at 12:00 pm as Conrad Worrill Community Reparations Commission (CWCRC) and Chicago NCOBRA Chapter Co-host this months UJIMA - Reparations Lunch & Learn. All participants receive a certificate of participation.

These training session allows Chicago Leaders, Clergy, Executive Directors, Business Owners and the general public (nationally) an in-depth educational look into and understanding of Reparations.

Who, What, When, Where and How of Reparations

  • What Reparations means
  • What are the Five Components
  • Why Reparations is Owed
  • Who has Gotten Reparations
  • When Did They Get/We Push for Reparations
  • How They Got/We Get Reparations


Purpose:
UJIMA Leadership Training Sessions are designed to teach our leaders so that they may be able to speak and guide their followers, members and families intellectually and with the strength and God given power.
Training Goals:
As reparations advocates our goals are to: 1. Educate on reparations, 2. Provide a broader knowledge, 3. Allow for Independent Creative and Critical Thinking, 4. Strategic Planning and Implementation. and 5. Have the leaders send/bring their followers, members, family and friends to these training sessions so that our communities can reach the masses in the City and on the State Levels.

First 50 Guest will receive a VIP Ticket to attend our 2024 Chicago Reparations Rally at Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field, 10201 South Cottage Grove Ave., Chicao IL onAugust 15, 2024. Food, drinks and snacks will be available to purchase during lunch. VIP Guest are offered a change to received a commemorative Reparations T-shirt available with a $20.00 donation.


Doors will open promptly at 12:00 pm. You should be in your seat no later than 12:15 pm. We will begin programming promptly at 12:30 pm CST. The production is anticipated to last no later than 3 h 30 m.


Seating is provided on a first come first served basis. Seating is limited; therefore, it is suggested that you purchase your tickets in advance.


Check-In. A Guest list will be available upon arrival for this event. If you are not able to attend and want to transfer your ticket(s) a physical ticket must be in presented. Guest will not be permitted to attend the event without a registered ticket. Please keep your tickets in a safe place.


Social Distancing is optional and strongly encouraged. If you are under the weather, we ask that you be courteous and please email us at [email protected] so that we may send you link to livestream the event from the comfort of your home. Proof of Vaccination does not need to be presented.


Donations to the Conrad Worrill Community Reparations Commission help fuel reparations initiatives for the community not only in Chicago but throughout Illinois. CWCRC is an educational fundraiser hosted by a 501C3 organization. Please consult your tax advisor for tax deduction information. All sales are final. No refunds will be provided.
