This year’s Ride of Silence will be Wednesday, May 21 starting and ending at Overman Park (316 W 3rd St, Cedar Falls).Registration starts at 6:00 p.m., a short memorial ceremony will be at 6:15 p.m., and the ride will take off by 6:25 p.m.
The ride will be approximately 11-12 mph for about 9 miles. It is suitable for all levels of cyclists. We ride in total silence in remembrance of our brother and sister cyclists who are no longer with us, especially those killed or maimed while biking.
Helmets and registration are required and red rear and white front blinking lights are recommended for safety. The Cedar Falls Police Department and Black Hawk County Motorcycle Deputies are planning to assist.
