About this Event
This exclusive Geelong Gallery exhibition highlights the influence of ukiyo-e on Australian painter and printmaker, Cressida Campbell (born 1960) and the groundbreaking modernist painter and printmaker, Margaret Preston (1875-1963).
A suite of prized Japanese ukiyo-e prints from the late 18th to mid 19th centuries will be on display, including Preston’s beautiful hand coloured wood cut, Fuchsia and balsam (1928).

Departure from MPRG at 8.00am by bus to Geelong gallery. The bus will leave the gallery at 2.30pm for Queenscliff ferry terminal for the 4.00pm ferry to Sorrento. A bus will then return everyone from Sorrento to MPRG around 5.45pm
