Finding yourself exhausted with social media saturation? Nervous to engage in conversation because of fear of polarized-partisan views being thrown at you? Struggling to figure out how to vote based on your values and what matters to you the most?
Join us for some breathing space and an opportunity to dig in and understand how knowing your values and the issues that matter to you can help you align your vote.
Together we will sharpen our critical thinking skills by naming our biases and assumptions; identifying ways to stay open to different perspectives; and sharing mechanisms to diversify how we access information.
The evening will include a light supper, laughter (yes really), and perhaps even surprises as we see how our personal compass matches up with political candidates and parties.
Please register so we can plan food. Message here, or email [email protected], or call 250-842-6500
This session is for people who are ready to listen,
be curious and have the ability to disagree with respect and kindness.
