Congregations United to Serve Humanity (CUSH) is pleased to announce its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century of our commitment to justice through advocacy, education, and community empowerment. To celebrate this momentous achievement, we’re hosting a banquet on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at “The Vault” (625 57th St, Kenosha, WI 53140) from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. The evening will include a silent auction and 50/50 raffle to support CUSH’s ongoing work, along with cocktails and dinner, and a short program featuring CUSH community leaders and guest speaker Mr. Darryl Morin, President and CEO of Advanced Wireless Inc. (AWI), and the National President of Forward Latino.
A prominent community leader, Mr. Morin is dedicated to creating meaningful social impact. He’s provided insight and counsel on critical issues that affect our community, such as education, economic mobility, health equity, trade, and immigration. To date, his Wireless School Initiative program has donated over $2 million worth of equipment and technology to underserved communities.
Individuals and organizations interested in attending are encouraged to reserve their tickets early, as space is limited. Tickets are $50 for an individual, or $400 for a table of eight. All tickets include general admission to the banquet and dinner. Sponsorship packages are available for businesses. Contact Grant Pitts at (815)669-0689 for more information.
CUSH is an interfaith coalition living our faith and values in pursuit of justice through advocacy, education and empowerment, using congregation-based community organizing to build the power needed to root out poverty, racism, and injustice in Kenosha since 2000.
