Join Radical Joy Riding at Ivy & Coney for a skill share focused on biking in larger bodies. Some general topics we'll cover:
- Finding a safe and secure bike frame
- Bike fit
- Saddle comfort
- Finding clothing that works for you
This is a positive, nonjudgmental environment to share your experience and ask questions. There is no tolerance for talk about weight loss, dieting, or specific weights unless contextually necessary. This event is exclusive to those who identify as fat or larger bodied.
Please note that Alyssa (lead) is typically in the small fat category and understands that there is privilege in being in her body. She will attempt to share her expertise as a mechanic and step back to allow those in larger bodies to have the floor.
