Curry Favour with Yudhika…I have a deep love for home food and while I appreciate dining at fine restaurants and experiencing the latest in trends and fashionable food, nothing comes close to the enormous warmth I feel that comes from cooking and serving meals in my home. The kitchen is the very heart of my space and one of my great joys is being able to share this love out of my kitchen. I am really excited to host this class because it will be the first time I will be sharing the fresh cream burfee cake recipe. I know it is not done to skip all else and fast forward to dessert but I am filled with enthusiasm.
For the mains, there is hearty lamb pilau made with leg of lamb cooked in a blend of spices and layered with potatoes and steamed with saffron.
Prawn masala - perfect for the cold weather with prawns cooked with garlic, curry leaves, a blend of spices in a tomato base
Chicken Kalya - marinated chicken smoked to add the flavour that so many of us remember from our childhood.
We will make a batch of roti to serve with the main course.
Whether entertaining guests or glamming up meals for your family, this course will be the step by step guide taking you through the step by step preparation but also has hints and tips to improve your everyday meal preparation.
The cost includes soft drinks and recipe notes as well as a sit down feast after the class where guests get to enjoy the meals prepared.
