The Curriculum Showcase will be on Saturday, January 24, at the Huntsville City Schools Center for Technology. This event is designed to help families prepare for course registration for the 2026–27 school year and to provide an inside look at the many opportunities available to students.At the Showcase, you and your student will be able to:
-Explore our Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs firsthand, including Automotive Technology, Building Science, Cosmetology, Culinary, Education and Training, Engineering Design, Greenpower, Industrial Technology, Precision Machining, and Welding.
-Attend breakout sessions on AP and Honors classes, Artemis Virtual Academy, Magnet programs, and Dual Enrollment options.
-Meet representatives from all high schools, middle schools, and junior highs, who can answer questions about academics, extracurricular activities, and school-specific programs.
-Connect with HCS departments and community partners, who will be available to share resources and answer questions.
This is a great opportunity to gather information, ask questions, and feel confident as your student prepares to register for next year.
