With a range of contributions from national and international speakers, including:<h4>Dr. Nicola Byrom, Senior Lecturer in Psychology, King’s College London, UK</h4>
Dr Byrom founded Student Minds, the UK’s student mental health charity and founded and developed SMaRteN, the UKRI funded Student Mental Health Research Network. She supported the initial development of the University Mental Health Charter and her research has informed policy and practice guidance including Advance HE’s Education for Mental Health Toolkit.
Dr. Denial is the PI on a Mellon Foundation funded grant, bringing together thirty-six participants from across higher education in the United States to explore “Pedagogies, Communities, and Practices of Care in the Academy After COVID-19.” Her new book A Pedagogy of Kindness, will be published by the University of Oklahoma Press in July 2024.
Dr. Felton is Assistant Provost for Teaching and Learning, and Professor of History at Elon University. He has published six books about undergraduate education including Relationship Rich Education - How Human Connections Drive Success at College.
