12pm - 1pm: Observation of playtime
Come see a Platinum OPAL Playtime in action - ask the children about how they manage risk and the grown ups about the changes they have seen.
1 - 2:15pm: OPAL networking meeting
Current OPAL schools meet to discuss the practicalities of developing your playtime as an OPAL Playtime, to ask questions and connect with others on the same journey.
Times are subject to alterations of up to 30 mins. Attendees will receive an email confirming times in the week preceding the event.
About Morningside Primary
Morningside Primary School in Hackney achieved their OPAL Platinum award in September 2023, a week before getting Outstanding in their Ofsted inspection. They are a two-form inner city primary school with no field and a classic three-story Victorian building. 32% of the children have SEND, and 55% receive pupil premium.
