About this Event
By creating a space to share knowledge and experiences, our wish is to facilitate dialogue and connection among a community who have an appreciation for craft and interest in color history. We aim to open up an invitation to slow down and pay closer attention to the world that hosts us through intentionally made food, carefully selected natural wine pairings and a workshop on textiles and natural dyes.
What to expect: Danica and Fran of will lead a natural dye workshop as well as facilitate a conversation around the historical context of the colors Yellow and Orange including the plant dyes we'll be using. This will be followed by a sit down dinner led by our friends and duo – Brennan Villareal and Sasha Schoen. Brennan has curated a yellow–orange–inspired menu and Sasha has selected natural wine pairings that highlight sustainability, available as an optional accompaniment to your meal.
You will leave this experience with new knowledge and ideas, a unique textile, a satisfied palette, and new connections in your community. Please note: This is an intimate experience with limited seats at the table. We are not able to offer any refunds in the event of cancellation. We are sorry and hope you understand!

About Got Your Back: Got Your Back is led by duo Sasha Schoen and Brennan Villarreal with the intention of building community through collaborative culinary events, dinners and pop ups. GYB provides thoughtfully curated Filipino inspired food paired with natural wine with hospitality at its focus.
