� Family Surf Lesson – DVA Health WeekFriday, 23rd January 2026.Join us for a fun and active morning at Currumbin Alley with a 90-minute family surf lesson designed for all skill levels. Come enjoy the ocean, connect with the veteran community, and learn from experienced instructors in a safe and supportive environment.
What’s Included90-minute guided surf lesson, Use of a softboard, Wetshirt and wetsuit (if required), Access to nearby changing facilities and toilets.
Participants will only need to bring: Sunscreen, towel and water.
Important – Action Required: All participants must complete and sign the waiver prior to attending the lesson. Participants aged 17 and under require a parent/guardian signature. For safety, this event is for children aged 8 years plus. Parents must be present if children are in attendance.
Where to Meet� Currumbin Alley Carpark. Meet at least 15 minutes prior to the lesson start time.
Lesson will start at 11:30am. Look for the big surf school truck parked opposite the Volunteer Marine Rescue building.
Toilets and change rooms are located directly across from the meeting area.
Parking Information: Please be aware that parking at Currumbin Alley can be challenging, especially on weekends, public holidays, and during school holidays.
During peak times, we recommend allowing 30–45 minutes to find a park so you don’t miss your session.
