Currants are easy to grow and, with the right care, can give excellent yields of fruit over many years. Led by our RHS qualified, experienced fruit grower and tutor you will learn about types of currants, planting, training with practical experience in winter pruning a variety of currant bushes, and about common pests & diseases and how to reduce damage without resorting to chemical sprays.
If you have currants already and would like to know how best to take care of them, or you are wondering where to start, there will be something for you in this popular winter workshop.
