Leave your grown-ups at the door jump into our Curiosity Club where you can unleash your inner museum detective and explore our themes through games, activities, and gallery visits.
October’s theme is monsters! Uncover things that go bump in the night… Find out about mythical monsters from around the world and be inspired by curious creatures found in nature.
Important Information
The session will be open from 10.15 for arrival so that we can start at 10:30, and finish at 12:00.
We are committed to making our Curiosity Club sessions a friendly, safe, inclusive environment. Museum staff reserve the right to call the parents/guardian of any participant who engages in aggressive, violent, or unsafe behaviour and require them to be collected immediately.
Please note that no food or drink (other than water bottles) are allowed in the session. If your child must have a drink or snack during this time for medical reasons please let us know in advance. Due to allergies we cannot allow any nuts in the activity areas.
Access
We want everyone who comes to our museums to enjoy their time with us and make the most of their visit.
There is level access to the Museum via the main doors to the Entrance Hall on Chambers Street and the Tower entrance at the corner of Chambers Street and George IV Bridge.
Lifts are available to all floors and accessible toilets are available on most floors, as well as a Changing Places (U) toilet in the Entrance Hall on Level 0.
Guide dogs, hearing dogs and other recognised assistance dogs are admitted.
