Curio Wine School: Pinot Noir - A Global Case Study
Pinot Noir is as elusive as it is beloved—delicate, expressive, and notoriously difficult to grow. In this class, we’ll explore the grape’s global journey from its spiritual home in Burgundy to the far corners of the wine world, including California, Oregon, New Zealand, and beyond.
Through a curated flight of diverse expressions, we’ll examine how terroir, climate, and winemaking styles shape this thin-skinned grape. Expect to compare earthy and elegant Old World examples with vibrant, fruit-forward New World interpretations.
Whether you’re a Burgundy devotee or just getting to know Pinot, this tasting will deepen your appreciation for one of the wine world’s most captivating grapes.

Curio wines classes are designed for everyone, whether you are new to the world of wine or a wine expert. We will explore and discover new aspects of wine together.
