About this Event
French white wines are far more than just Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
In this Curio Wine School class, we’ll explore the remarkable diversity of white wines from France—shaped by climate, soil, tradition, and technique. From crisp, mineral-driven styles to richly textured and aromatic expressions, this guided tasting highlights how French winemakers prioritize balance and structure in their winemaking.
You’ll taste six French white wines from classic regions like the Loire Valley and Burgundy, alongside expressive styles from Alsace, the Rhône Valley, and beyond. Along the way, we’ll break down what makes French white wines distinctive, how to recognize key styles, and how to choose them with confidence.
Whether you’re new to French wine or looking to deepen your understanding, this class offers an approachable, engaging way to explore one of the world’s most influential wine traditions.
This class pairs beautifully with the Feb 18 Curio Wine School class, Bordeaux, Burgundy, & Beyond!
