We are excited to bring our CURE SICKLE CELL NOW Move-On Event back IN PERSON!! Not only are we celebrating Sickle Cell Awareness Month, but we also continue to commemorate the 50th ANNIVERSARY of the HU Center for Sickle Cell Disease.
We will gather in front of Howard University Hospital at the Plaza for fun and activities. Join the 5K Fun Walk/Run around Howard University campus. Not able to walk? Then stay at HUH Plaza and move as you can to music and to Zumba instruction.
Registration is FREE!! If you register by August 29, 2022, you're guaranteed a t-shirt when you arrive onsite! We'll have plenty of other free giveaways and raffle prizes, too.
Can't join us in person? Just like last year, we will host a #CSCN Run/Walk Challenge on the Nike Run Club App. Log your miles for the entire month of September, and those with the most miles will win great prizes!!
Get connected to our social media, because we will post challenges that you can participate in throughout September as we raise awareness. Tag us so we can see you in action!
What do you need to do??

2. SPREAD THE WORD!! Anyone can join the CSCN Move-On event. Even if you're not local, participate in our social media challenges and join the #CSCN Run/Walk Challenge on the Nike Run Club App.
3. Want to donate directly to the HU Center for Sickle Cell Disease? Give online !
Not all exercises are suitable for everyone, and this or any other exercise program could result in injury. Any user of this exercise program assumes the risk of injury resulting from performing the exercises.
T-shirts are only guaranteed for those who register BEFORE August 25 and will only be distributed onsite. No shirts will be mailed or held for pick-up after the event.
Prizes for the #CSCN Run/Walk Challenge will be mailed to continental US addresses only.
