This two-part series will take place at Cowtown and Highland Cemetery as a partnership between Old Cowtown Museum and Friends of the Wichita Pioneers. The first part will take place at Old Cowtown Museum on November 15 at 2pm and consists of a tour of buildings that tell the story of seven early Wichita residents whose stories are told at Cowtown and are buried at the cemetery.
The program continues the next Saturday, November 22, at Highland Cemetery where Barbara Myers of Friends of Wichita Pioneers will lead a tour through the cemetery as she highlights the graves of individuals explored during the previous Saturday’s tour at Old Cowtown Museum.
This is a two-part series with the first meeting at Old Cowtown Museum on Saturday, Nov. 15th at 2pm and the second meeting at Highland Cemetery on Saturday, Nov. 22nd at 2pm.
Admission is $15 per person and includes admission to both parts of the series.
