Explore the world of Japanese tea by joining curator Sol Jung for an exclusive tour of .

This exhibition presents eleven historic tea utensils and accessories, including ceramics, hanging scrolls, boxes, and wrapping cloths. These objects tell a story of exchange across Asia to Japanese tea rooms, where they accumulated significance over generations of use. Drawn from the Kinsey Chanoyu Collection, Reasons to Gather illuminates the art of preparing and drinking tea.

Please meet at gallery 8 for the tour. We recommend you register in advance.
