About this Event
Heavy Water is an artist collective that draws from archives and collections to create new artworks with a contemporary context. Join the three artists – Maud Haya-Baviera, Victoria Lucas and Joanna Whittle – for a special curator tour to find out how their exhibition draws from the city’s collection to explore past and current engagements with the land.
You’ll hear from the artists about the development of this playful gathering of artworks, artefacts and archival material. They’ll share their experiences of delving into Sheffield's vast collections and talk through some of the ways they’ve responded creatively to some highlighted artefacts.
This tour forms part of the programme of events complementing the exhibition Gathering Landscapes which opens at Weston Park Museum on 27 November 2025, until 1 November 2026.
