MAKE WAY FOR DUCKLINGS with Russell Johnson
Budding book collectors are invited to take part in an interactive tour of Rare Books Los Angeles Union Station guided by Russell Johnson, Curator of History of Medicine and the Sciences at UCLA Library Special Collections.
Featuring more than 50 leading specialists in antiquarian books, fine prints, photography, maps, and ephemera, Rare Books LA Union Station takes place October 4-5 at Los Angeles Union Station in the historic Ticket Concourse.
Tours will run about 60 minutes, during which Russell will lead their ducklings up and down the aisles of the fair and discuss his approach to collection development, evaluating material for purchase, and the proper care and feeding of booksellers.
Space is limited to 6 participants.
When you reserve a spot for a tour, you will also receive complimentary admission to Rare Books LA Union Station.
