Join Emily Johnston to learn how to weave a Cup'ik style grass mat and small tray. This workshop series takes place over two weekends. Participants must plan to attend all four classes, and need to bring their own plastic trash bag, small towel, needle and thimble. This workshop is supported by grants from The CIRI Foundation with the support of First Light Alaska and the Curating Indigenous Circumpolar Cultural Sovereignty program. Materials fee of $40; registration required. Registration covers all four sessions.
