Come along to the home of Cambridge University Polo Club for the afternoon and meet the ponies, watch some polo and grab some food!We are hosting our popular open day again this year, on Sunday the 15th as the perfect end to Fresher’s week.
You will have the chance to meet and ride our ponies, practice hitting a ball on our wooden horse, watch an exhibition match and meet our current members whilst enjoying a barbecue and unlimited Cobra beer! You will also have the opportunity to sign up for our taster sessions running in Michaelmas term.
Taster Day itinerary;
12:30pm- Cyclists meet outside Queens College Porters Lodge (Silver Street)
1pm- Welcome and introduction to committee
2pm- Meet the ponies and have a go!
3pm- Exhibition match
4pm- Food and refreshments (feel free to bring a picnic weather permitting)
We will also be hosting a sale of CUPC merchandise on the day, accepting cash and contactless!
There will be a cycle convoy leaving Queens College on the day, led by a member of committee (more information on this will be circulated nearer to the event).
If you don’t have a bike don’t worry! Haggis Farm is a 10 minute uber from central Cambridge.
