This summer/fall, we will be holding various working sessions to start further developing the different parts and concepts of the new cumulative impacts law. Our first working session will be held in-person at Rondo Community Library in the Multipurpose Room. This first meeting will focus on what indicators and/or data could be used in a cumulative impact analysis. We will be looking for input on what community exposures and stressors could be used and hope to gain understanding in how feedback will be used to refine the concepts. Doors will open at 5 p.m. We will start with a brief presentation by MPCA staff at 5:30 p.m. and then break into small groups for the remainder of the evening. All are welcome to join us.
Working session materials and a recording of the presentation from MPCA staff will be available on the cumulative impacts rulemaking webpage for those who are not able to attend in-person but would like to offer feedback.
To request language interpretation or an accommodation to participate in the session, please contact Alexa Golemo ([email protected]) by June 26, 2024.
