Carlisle & District Snooker & Billiards will be hosting the a one-day Billiiard Competition at Qzone, Carlisle on SUNDAY 3rd NOVEMBER 2024
Billiards has been a popular sport in the north of Cumbria for many decades and around one hudred people still play regularly each week in various leagues and competitions
The Committee are extremely grateful to Martyn Gowing and the team at Qzone for their support in this exciting new competition.
This event will be limited to 32 entries and open to anyone in the United Kingdom.
Format will be:
8 Groups of 4 players
Each player will play 3 one-hour group games - top two from each group qualify for the last 16 onwards.
There will be a PLATE Competition for players who don’t qualify from the groups.
Prize Money will be:
Main Competition:
Winner: £200
RU - £100
SF - £50
Plate Competition:
Winner: £50
RU - £25
Entry Fee will be £20
(which must be paid before the event to guarantee entry, as there will be no payment on the day)
The Group stages will have two start times of 9.15am and 10.30am to allow for players travelling from outside of the Carlisle area.
