Are you currently on your OPAL journey? Come and join the family of OPAL schools at the Cumbria network meeting. Whether you are just starting out or are an established OPAL school, this afternoon session will bring inspiration, ideas and the chance to network with like-minded local schools.

Come see a platinium OPAL playtime in action – ask the children about how they manage risk and the grown-ups about the changes they have seen.

About Maryport Primary School
Maryport Primary School achieved their OPAL platinum award in June 2024 after a two year journey to transform their playtimes. Through the commitment, creativity and enthusiasm of the play team over the past 24 months, they have made the most of each part of their school grounds and ensured that every child has an amazing playtime, every day! Their play offer is outstanding and they are keen to share their wealth of knowledge with other OPAL schools at this special Cumbria regional event.

There is some on street parking available on the roads surrounding the school.
Please dress according to the weather, we will be outdoors for the first hour.
Tea and coffee provided. Delegates welcome to bring lunch.
Only two tickets per school. If you can no longer come, please let us know so we can release your place to another school.
