Featuring: FIXITY & ANA PALINDROME
FIXITY is a project formed by Cork based multi-instrumentalist and composer Dan Walsh in 2015. The project is based around the impossibility of repeated moments and manifests in solo and ensemble settings with collaborators from throughout Ireland and beyond.
For this one off special Fixity becomes a 5 piece with Dan on drums and vocals, Sean Maynard Smith on Bass, Brendan Riordan on Guitar, Steve Welsh on Sax/Flutes and Sam Clague on Bass clarinet/flute.
ANA PALINDROME are a Cork based band made up of musicians Niamh Dalton (vocals, fiddle), Ruairi de Búrca (synths, programming) and Sara Leslie (bass, vocals)
The project centres around a fictionalised character, Ana Palindrome, developing a personality and aesthetic that propels the vision for their songwriting & music making.
Ana is your nightmare-dream girl. Perfect for the night that's in it. They recently played at “In The Meadows” with Lankum and Mogwai in Kilmainham, Dublin.
