Christ Church’s audio guide uses storytelling to bring the cathedral’s nearly 1,000-year history to life in a new and exciting way. It is offered in 7 languages; English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese and Italian. Irish Sign Language and Audio Descriptive tours are also available with transcriptions (in English only). Please download the audio guide onto your own device and bring your earphones/headphones. Visitors are able to choose from three different themes as they explore: ‘Power and Politics’, ‘Christ Church & the City’ and ‘Music & Spirituality’. There is a limit of 200 spaces available for each self-guided tour and they must be pre-booked in advance. The audio guide must be downloaded onto your own device as physical devices will not be available on the night. The tour lasts approx. 45 minutes. Latecomers will not be admitted. There are no bathroom facilities on site.
