Are you a creative practitioner? Do you work in a creative industry? Are you from or based in Kirklees? Culture Collective is hosting a Creativity in Kirklees day and we would love you to join us.
Join us for all or part of the day and take advantage of the opportunity to:
· Bring your work to a wider audience
· Find out about other creative industries and practitioners
· Help to shape Kirklees Council’s new Creative Strategy
· Network and share best practice with others
Part One
11.30am-1pm Creative Stalls – drop in to find out more about local creative organisations and chat to those who run them to see what opportunities there are for collaboration. NOTE: if you run a creative organisation in Kirklees and would like to take a table to showcase your organisation’s work, please visit https://www.paceproject.co.uk/culture-collective
Part Two
1pm-3.30pm Cultural Strategy workshops – a short introduction to our organisation Culture Collective, followed by Cultural Strategy workshops, led by by CTConsults, where you can help to test some emerging themes, priorities and ideas for Kirklees Council’s new Cultural Strategy. NOTE: there will be a comfort break from 2.15pm-2.30pm.

Part Three
3.30pm-4.30pm Networking/Social – with complimentary refreshments (drop-in, no booking required).
Open House
Some local creative organisations will be offering an Open House drop-in on the same day as our event. These include: Children's Art School, Thread Republic & West Yorkshire Print Workshop - all on the Piazza, Huddersfield.

About Culture Collective
Formerly the Creative Leaders Group (CLG), Culture Collective exists to represent and advocate for the cultural sector in Kirklees. The group consists of leaders of professional arts, cultural, creative businesses and/or initiatives in Kirklees, senior representation from Kirklees Council and The University of Huddersfield.
