Join us for Sage’s Culture & Heritage Night on Wednesday, February 5th from 6:00- 8:00 pm! Students, families, and faculty are invited to join us for an evening designed to celebrate the various cultures within our community! Mark your calendars to come by to sample some tasty traditional dishes, hear new music, and have a great time!Things of note:
Please arrive with a ready-to-share dish from your family heritage or tradition (no soups, please!)
Would you or your child like to share something from your heritage (song, poem, physical object, etc.)?
Come prepared and visit the informal Street Performers Corner (microphone and speakers will be available) or display your labeled object on our Cultural Artifacts Table (more info will be sent to your grade).
Festive, traditional attire encouraged
Things to expect:
-Potluck food tastings
-Music and mingling
-Chances to share your family’s experiences while gaining inspiration and enrichment from others
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. Students are under the supervision of their parents or an adult chaperone for the duration of this event. We’re excited for a wonderful evening filled with delicious food! Please keep an eye on what your children eat during the event, especially if they have allergy concerns, as we cannot ensure the ingredients of dishes not prepared on-site.
