Culture and Crisis: Thinking Biblically in Turbulent Times | Intersect 2024

Register for Gateway Seminary's annual Intersect conference! This year, we are addressing contemporary challenges in today's culture through biblical thinking.

Join us to learn how the gospel addresses complex cultural issues, including racial division, poverty, human trafficking, natural disasters and more.

Gateway students can take this conference for class credit by registering for I2999-11 or I2999-19. This 1-credit course includes the conference lectures and lunch discussion, and some additional reading and writing assignments.

Students who register for the class L2999-11 or L2999-19 do not need to pay for a ticket to the conference. Email [email protected] for more information on registering for the conference as a class.

Personal Responses to a Crisis

with Pete Ramirez

Pete Ramirez is the CSBC executive director. Elected in May 2022, Ramirez is responsible for leading staff in the ministry areas of church planting, church revitalization, evangelism and missions. He also leads the area related to business services and communications.

His passion is for local churches to reach their communities and win people to Jesus. His primary goal is to work with California Southern Baptist churches to push back the darkness for 35 million Californians who don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus.

He served as leader of the CSBC Evangelism and Missions Team and as associate executive director before being elected chief executive officer of CSBC. Pete is married to Anabella. They have two daughters and one grandson.
